Special Purpose Examination

This CD-ROM program for Windows® and our web application are a high-efficiency, self-study and self-testing tool containing over 8,200 questions, answers, and explanations designed to prepare physicians for the SPEX. The Special Purpose Examination (SPEX) Certification Exam is required by some State Medical Boards for licensing reciprocity in states other than the physician’s original licensing state. In other instances, it may be required for those seeking license reinstatement, or license reactivation after a period of professional inactivity. This exam will assess the physician’s general clinical knowledge. Images and cases are associated with many questions in this CD. The difficulty of exams adapts based on prior performance.
